The much awaited release of the successor to the hugely successful Mamba Venom is has arrived. The Mamba Venom Antidote has been finally released after years of curation.

Still maintaining its gutsy 48V peak 750W with a continuous performance of 500W and 42km/h top speed motor, the engineers at Mamba decided to upgrade the motor from the previous Mamba Venom to the trusted, reliable and global leader in e-bike motors brands, Bafang. The Bafang motor is made from high-quality aluminium alloys, from the casing to the inner mechanisms. The magnets are made of high-quality neodymium. These quality components lead to vastly reducing motor errors and longer motor life.

The Mamba Venom Antidote has a battery integrated into the frame boasting 48V, 15Ah (720Wh) with LG 21700 Cells. The 15ah battery is 2ah less than its 17ah predecessor but with LG A grade cells this means more reliability and a longer battery life span.

A thumb throttle change from the twist throttle allows more speed control. Suntour forks for a plush ride, integrated front and bike lights, rack and fenders and wider 2.4 tyres and Logan Hydraulic brake to help you stop this beast of an e-bike. Pete's 100km Rider Review

This is a great eBike for getting around your local streets and cycleways, but isn't suitable for off-road without rear suspension.
Easy to adjust the riding position for comfort, I'm 174cm (5' 9") and chose the 27.5" wheels which overall seem to fit my size. Riding mostly on Power 3-4, cruising at 30-35km seems effortless. I enjoy a light peddle rather than just throttle drive and then use Power 5 just for fun. It gets up the steepest hills around my area and places I wouldn't attempt without the 750w peak (500w continuous) drive motor. The carry rack allows me to leave my backpack at home and is handy for keeping a lock (which you'll need to buy separately).
Only slight dislike is the inaccuracy of the battery level indicator. Plan ahead as it takes 8 hours to charge the 18Ah battery (yes bigger than the specs say). There's no connectivity to an App or security alarm and I'm puzzled why there isn't any mounting screws for a drink bottle holder. Hey I know I'm being picky here so you see there isn't anything really 'wrong' with the ride.
Overall, if you want an eBike that not only looks good but also gets you around town in comfort and has decent power and range then this is 100% what I would recommend.
