Not a video. Not a toy. A full humanoid robot that walks, talks, answers questions and dances — in a small Saturday session at our Altona showroom. Ages six to twelve. You watch from the parents' area.

THE SESSION
WHAT HAPPENS
Small groups, one room, two robots and a trained operator. The session is built so every child gets close to the robot instead of watching from the back of a crowd.

MEET THE ROBOTS
Children are introduced to both humanoid robots up close, with a short safety briefing so everyone knows where to stand, how to watch and when their turn comes.

SEE WHAT THEY DO
The robots walk, balance, wave and react. Children see how a machine senses the room around it and responds to what is happening in it.

TALK TO A ROBOT
Children ask the robot questions and hear it answer, then take turns giving it simple voice commands to carry out.

DANCE TOGETHER
The robot performs a dance routine and the whole group joins in. This is the part they talk about in the car on the way home.

PHOTOS TO KEEP
Every child gets a photo with the robot, plus a group shot. Photos are sent through to parents after the session.

QUESTIONS AFTERWARDS
The hour includes time at the end for questions, when children and parents can ask the operator anything about how the robots work.
SESSION TIMING
AROUND 1 HOUR 15 MINUTES AT YOUR VENUE
A one-hour session, with the last ten minutes set aside for questions. Please arrive 15 minutes early for the safety briefing, so allow around 1 hour 15 minutes at the venue in total.

Smaller and less intimidating, so younger children are comfortable standing near it. This is usually the robot they interact with directly.

We know this is the question parents ask before any other one, so here is the answer before you have to ask it.

NEVER UNSUPERVISED
A trained operator controls the robot for the entire session. Children are never left alone with a moving robot, and all physical contact is managed by our staff.

TRAINED OPERATORS
Every session is run by a trained E-Ozzie Tech operator who stays with the robot for the whole session.

CONTROLLED SPACE
Sessions run indoors at our own Altona showroom, with a marked safe zone, clear rules explained at the start, and a designated parents' area.

PARENT QUESTIONS
Is the robot safe around my child?
Yes. A trained operator controls the robot for the whole session and children are never left unsupervised with it. The session opens with a short safety briefing, there is a marked safe zone, and all physical contact such as high-fives is managed by our staff.
Can I stay and watch?
Yes, and we would rather you did. There is a parents' viewing area with a clear view of the whole session. Afterwards we stay on for about ten minutes so you and your child can ask questions.
How long is the session?
The session runs for one hour, with the last ten minutes set aside for questions. Please arrive 15 minutes early for the safety briefing, so allow around 1 hour 15 minutes at the venue in total.
My child is five, or thirteen. Can they still come?
The session is designed for six to twelve year olds. Slightly younger or older children can usually attend if a parent stays with them — get in touch before booking and we will let you know.
Do I need to book for each child?
Yes. Each child taking part needs their own place at $55. Parents and younger siblings who are watching rather than joining in do not need a booking.

Do you run sessions during school holidays?
Saturday sessions are our regular schedule. Get in touch if you would like to know about holiday sessions.
Can you come to us instead, for a party or a school?
Yes. We hire the robots out for birthday parties and events across Melbourne, and run 30-minute robot incursions at schools. Both are booked separately from this workshop.
